"Rooms are very clean. Wi-Fi is extremely slow. Plenty of parking spaces. A lady who was seemingly having hallucinations was yelling at an invisible person outside, and asked to use my phone to call 911. She seemed mentally unwell. The motel staff seemed well-aware of her presence - they seem to manage the situation sensitively and as best they can, but this is good to know for anyone who considers staying there. "

"Although a little warn, very clean and fully equipped kitchen which allowed us to have a few meals in the suite instead of spending $ eating out every night. It can get noisy with car traffic during the day but quieter in the evening. We had no issue sleeping at night. There is no AC but I found opening the window allowed a nice breeze to flow into the room. "

"It was an older motel that was in the process of remodeling and was lacking some of the furniture. I asked the manager for a microwave and he loaned his. He has only been there 2 1/2 months and working hard to improve the place. "

"Older & very cool up-side-down boat houses. The first 7 units are near roadside, face ocean & are very quiet (baring any possible noise from neighbor guests). "Very proactive about confirming my reservation and arrival time. I asked if I could buy some towels and linen and they gave a very competitive price which saved me time and quite a bit if money over new. The location is great, on a main road, not far from the TransCanada Highway and they are across the street from a bay or inlet close to a marina. I saw many sailboats as I drove in. There is a grocery store where that access road meets the highway andmr least one open pub at Ten PM, but not much else is open. The room had a kitchenette with a four burner stove oven, coffee maker, microwave, small fridge and some cookware. They had the proper fire extinguisher in a kitchen cupboard clearly marked whereas many properties don't comply with fire codes. The bedding was nice too and there was plenty of furniture. Moreover, the price was below half the average rates I noticed nearby even though many properties were sold out. A few areas could use a bit of paint and they need new carpet soon, but those are not details I personally care much about. They Wifi worked well and they have a coin operated laundromat which I didn't use. No restaurant nor pool but there are plenty on that road if one is not arriving too late as I did. Not only woukd I stay again but I wanted to make an excuse to do and would definitely bring friends or family with me to discover this lovely little. There was also a gardener tending to flowers."
