Outdoorsy Bayfield

"The cabin 74 seats in front of a beautiful creek and gives it a very peaceful environment, however since it seats right next to the office there is a lot of traffic people going back and forth, at night the have conveniently added sounds machine which I personally love but that was not enough to keep the noise of heavy trucks and motorcycles going by in the middle of the night but we also use my phone for soothing sounds which help to muffle the sounds a bit and make more manageable, The property is beautiful and well maintained, Our dog really enjoyed the of leash park and walking around, our two kiddos enjoyed fishing and trying to catch the multiple crawfish. Also saw there is a sauna but we don’t tried and a small basketball areas, horse shoes and corn hole that you can ask at the office. The frisbee golf is decent not to big but just enough. There is also small trail across the road with a continuation of bay field’s streams which was also fun to look for pretty rocks, also saw some kids tubing the small creek. In general the stay was relaxing and some what peaceful, will definitely come back!"
Country Sunshine Bed and Breakfast

"We stayed here 2 nights and did the Durango-Silverton train dude. The place is beautiful with an outdoor hot tub, hammocks, ama just a beautiful balcony overlooking the property where you can have your breakfast. The gardens are beautiful and lots of birds singing and fluttering about the birds feeders. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was continental: Braga and muffins and such. Coffee was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and of were ever that way again we will certainly stay here again. Highly recommend. We traveled in August, on our way to a week long trip to Montana. The price was reasonable and actually same as a hotel chain but you cannot compare the quality, peace, lovely views and wonderful hosts."

"If you're looking for a rustic cabin by the river then this is the place. Didn't have much luck fishing but the trout here were good sized. Was nice sitting by the river in the mornings and evenings. I would definitely rent this place again. Loved the natural sky lighting."

"This a very different setup than most BnB’s, there are six cottages surrounding a beautiful lawn, lots of greenery and flowers. A main building houses the eating and common area. The hosts were so welcoming and informative. Thank you for a very nice stay."

"Such a nice, cute little cabin to stay in while in the Bayfield area! Easy check in, great location, very nice host with prompt communication! It was warm during our stay and we were glad to have windows - would have been better if ALL the windows had screens. The “driveway” is the big issue. It’s very narrow and on a steep grade. We were lucky to be in a small vehicle (Honda HRV). A bigger vehicle would have had more difficulty navigating around with bags in hand."

"Cozy cabin with gorgeous views. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Furniture was comfortable and kitchen and grill were easy and stocked for home cooking. We had our elderly pup with us. The property is located on a gravel hill. No complaints, just something to note if mobility is a consideration for your fur baby. Vallecito residents were more than friendly. Visited the general store multiple times. Shout out to local business Penny’s Famous Dips. HIGHLY recommend, SO good!! Had dinner at Woodfire Grill. Very yummy pizza! Awesome vibes. A great mix of local and tourist chemistry. Staff very welcoming and live music on Fridays and Saturdays. We had a great trip and look forward to returning!!"
