Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. "Very nice “classic” style older hotel kept up very well. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the view of the gorge (river) was great, and the dinner and breakfast absolutely delicious. Unfortunately I have a tattoo that is bigger than “one point” (palm size) so was not able to use the onsen. I wish the hotel would reconsider tattoo policy because it is so common for people from all countries including Japan to have tattoo art. This is the only reason why I could not give overall 5 stars."

"初めてオールインクルーシブの宿に宿泊しました。 チェックイン時からドリンクとアルコールと簡単なおつまみがいただけて、夕食時のアルコールの種類が充実していてびっくりしました。 夕食ビュッフェは中華料理が多く、土地柄もあるでしょうが海鮮系はほとんどありませんでした。 湯上がりラウンジでもドリンクとアルコールが飲めました。 お風呂に関しては、アメニティやドライヤーがとても良かったです。 ただ、露天風呂が大浴場と別の場所にあり、また雰囲気もあまり良くありませんでした。 タオルが浴場に置いてあり使い放題なのはありがたかったですが、なんとなく焦げ臭い臭いがしたのが気になりました。"

"I stayed only for one night but the hotel was excellent, staff were helpful, spacious Japanese style room. A bit of walk from the Kinugawa Onsen Station but it is a nice walk. I will stay again if I am in the area again."
