"Fixtures and furniture/carpeting had an older style look, but appeared NEW. Nothing was worn, and looked impeccably clean. We had a king bed room and it had a beautiful red velour bed covering and lace trimmed sheets. The carpet was a deep red and felt soft and cushiony under bare feet. The elegance of the whole (very large) room rivaled $300 hotel rooms I've stayed in, and this was under $100. The TV had TONS of channels to watch. A very quiet hotel with many close food options. Serves a complementary continental breakfast."

"Phenomenal communication with Becky, our host. Will be coming to this property again. It is unique and unlike anything I ever stayed at before. It was a jail in its former life after all. Very authentic with a modern twist. Great place!!!"

"Overall we liked our stay. However, on our way home, we noticed a one night, charge, on our credit card account from the motel. The phone call back to the motel resulted in a verbal disagreement as to why this charge occurred. The manager would be available the next day but until then we were upset with this improper charge. The next day the charge was cancelled by a matched credit. Unfortunately this situation, although solved, was a dark stain on our visit."

"Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a great location. It was easy to find off the main road with grocery, gas, and meals adjacent to the property. We had a nice complimentary breakfast. We were in and out and didn't have a lot of contact with the staff, but they were attentive at the desk and in the kitchen area. I would stay there again."

"Vettie and Jeff made our stay fun and relaxing ... perfect! Couldn't ask for better hosts and property. Bonus ... the breakfasts were delicious! My husband says the sausage gravy and biscuits were top notch, i loved the rolls .... our son just loved them all!"
