"A fun and unique experience in Guadeloupe. We enjoyed the Creole style house with a view of the ocean and pool. We generally enjoyed the openness but, as others have said, you should bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the evening noises from bugs, roosters, etc. Bug spray is helpful but the mosquito nets do a great job of keeping bugs away at night. "Great place to stay. Philippe, the host was kind and responsive to our requsts. Even drove halfway around the island to get us coffee filters. Be sure to get a car though, as even though my wife and I did walk to and from the villa into town a couple of times, it is a steep trek! There are no taxis in Drshaies"

"L'emplacement en pleine nature est un régal pour la tranquillité et la piscine permet de redescendre en température. Max et Louise sont des hôtes formidables et d'une extrême gentillesse. La villa est tout équipée et les améliorations apportées à celle-ci permettent de passer de très bonnes nuits en pleine campagne. "It's a very wonderful house, super good cleaned, full of all the amenities you need for a short o a long stay. It's so spacious and it has very confortable sofas and beds. Bed sheets and towels are double for each room and super cleaned. We find also bathrooms super cleaned with soap and toilet paper included.
