"I liked everything about the Marine. Only one criticism and that was the fact that the hotel itself does not have a direct telephone that you can ring them on. All calls for all hotels in the group go through central reservations whom I called and was put on hold for half an hour. But everything other aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent. "Easy check-in, nice clean and quiet room. Unfortunately, I accidentallydamaged what I thought was the bathroom flush, and contacted Nick straight away. He told me not to worry at all, and explained that he would sort the problem out when he arrived. Fantastic owner, I would imagine that certain other people would take advantage of this and try and request extra payment. I would recommend this place, and would definitely stay here again."

"Small, friendly, helpful & clean. Room very comfortable with everything you would need for a short stay. Only comment was that there was no long mirror in the room. The one in the assessable room was in the toilet/shower room & therefore became less assessable when the toilet was in use plus became very steamed up & unable to be used. Such a small thing so not a problem & we would definitely use this hotel again. Dinner was very nice as was breakfast with plenty of choice. Loved the little bar...

"A single overnight on a motorcycle trip. Accommodation was very comfortable and staff (Krista) was really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with vegetarian accommodated no problem. Everything really clean and tidy with tea, coffee in room as well as shampoo & shower gel. View as you exit the font door is lovely. Would definitely stay again and recommended."
