"We arrived to be greeted with a bill way over quoted price ….$1350 for 2 nights in a room size of shoe box…no easy way to get into bed, one chair as no space, no lift. Got upgraded for 2nd night to apartment. About 50 percent better but then no cutlery and no operating plug in kitchen even tho said we had to wash any dishes used!!!! Staff tried their best but cannot believe price this place charges!!!"

"Great location for exploring the area, very cofortable, clean, and spacious accomodation. Quite and restful, great beds and generous perfectly cooked breakfast. The Lady of the house was delightful, accomodating and went to any extent to make my stay wonderful. If I'd visit the area again hopefully I'll stay longer!"

"This was the most elegant and b&b I’ve ever stayed in. The room was magnificent and the owner/operators were fantastic. They treated us marvelously, were welcoming, and made us feel right at home during our stay. The breakfast was absolutely the best. If you find yourself in Ayr and are looking for a place to stay book The Townhouse. You won’t be disappointed. "
