"Lovely building. Rooms clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was filling - lots of choice and well cooked. Only negative would be that soundproofing isn’t the best in the rooms."

"Bed & pillows were lovely & comfy & we had an excellent nights sleep. Shower would benefit from a deep clean around shower gel holder as it was a little mouldy all around it. Tea/coffee tray was very dusty but the room may not have been occupied for a few days hence a build up of dust as the window was slightly open. Apart from me being picky about those two things it was very cheap & therefore I didn’t expect the Ritz at that price. All the staff who dealt with us were very helpful & friendly & I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"I was soaking wet when I arrived and the staff couldn't be more helpful in getting me booked in quick. The room was excellent with everything I required and the breakfast had plenty of options. All in all very pleasant. Would use again if around the area. "

"Yeah, a really nice country pub. Met up with my daughter there for a night as was in the middle of us. Really friendly staff, and welcoming locals. Dogs allowed in bedrooms. Very comfy bed. Lovely dinner. Nice dog walk across the road. She left too early for breakfast and I got up too late but am sure it would have been lovely!"
