"Nice quiet location. Ample parking. Cozy and clean room. Handy local pub, shop and butchers across the road. Good freshly cooked breakfast."

"Fine for a one night stay."

"Great hotel, my room was small, but the hotel is in the center of town and that worked for me. The waiting staff were great and helpful and stopped for chats as I was travelling/eating on my own."

"Clean and tidy. Bedroom smelt like someone had smoked in there before me. Parking good. No staff (which was advertised to be fair and the codes worked!). No hot water for the morning shower and no one to alert. Overall, average but ok for a place to sleep for the night."

"Great stay for 1 night when heading south."

"Nice comfortable beds friendly staff. Loved our stay here"

"This is an excellent small boutique B&B. Full of charm and character. Very well maintained and clean. Owners kept themselves to themselves other than the welcome. Lovely breakfast. Very organised. Would definitely stay again so would recommend to others."

"Breakfast was lovely"

"Very clean and new"

"So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!"

"Lovely comfortable room and excellent staff. We really liked the food- dinner and breakfast were spot on."

"This is the second time I have stayed there in last couple of mths, lovely suite we stayed in, lovely pub and good breakfast. Will definitely stay there again."

"Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all."

"Comfortable accommodation in an interesting historic property"
