"We only used the hotel as a base for a couple of nights so didn’t use the restaurant . We upgraded to a club room which was roomy and bed itself was comfortable enough but the pillows were very small and flat and didn’t even come up to the base of headboard and the pillows didn’t fit the pillow cases which were of a normal size. We did mention this to reception when checking out who said they would mention it to housekeeping . We have stayed here a couple of times before but not in a club room and didn’t have a problem with the pillows then so I was quite surprised that the pillows didn’t match up to the upgrade. Had we been staying longer I would have mentioned it after the Ist night. "

"Great property and location. Construction going on so it was a bit noisy. Breakfast was very repetitious (same as my last stay) and i wasn't happy they blocked of the front part of the breakfast area. It was way to compact putting everyone at one end. Covid is still around. "

"The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was excellent, The hotel was completely different to anywhere else I’ve stayed. It was interesting and welcoming. Only thing I would ask for is a 2nd chair in the bedroom! I would certainly recommend it and hopefully will have another stay there."

"Brilliant spotless rooms, brilliant service, great bar, drinks are pricey but were given 2 complimentary drinks which was an excellent touch. Only thing I missed was no hash browns for breakfast. "
