A delightful little spot with kind and helpful hosts. The town is not a destination per se but if you are passing by it's a great way to get to a quiet spot. It was very peaceful.

This eccentric BnB is off the beaten path and quite delightful. No restaurants within walking distance, but there is a grocery store nearby, and our suite had a refrigerator and dishes. The property isn’t as tidy as in the photos, but it didn’t detract from our stay too much. The parking area is secured by a gate for which we received a clicker. Catherine served us breakfast each morning and it was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

You can trust all the five-star reviews for Hotel Entraigues. We did, and enjoyed an unforgettable three nights there. Hotel staff were friendly and went beyond helpful. One example--while giving us walking directions to the laundry/dry cleaners five minutes away, the desk manager said "never mind, I'll go there for you". A beautiful very short drive from castle. The country road is picturesque and the hotel is very nicely remodeled.

Lovely hotel in the walled city of Carcassone. Great setup for parking since you can't park in the city. They have a special parking lot where you leave your car and they have car service to pickup you and your luggage and deliver you to the hotel. Private event in their dining room when we were there but they made reservations for us in a lovely restaurant a few door down (Comte Roger) and was one of the best of our trip. We found this hotel by chance after canceling our stay in Avignon and it was a pleasant surprise. Very kind staff, beautiful countryside views, spacious rooms, and reliable AC. I would strongly recommend this hotel to live the lovely French countryman experience.
