We could step off our veranda and be at the poolside. We were directly across the street from the beach. The included breakfast was nice.
We had a beautiful stay at this apartment in Las Terrenas. The unit was very clean when we arrived and much bigger than we expected, which made it really comfortable for our group. The view was absolutely stunning, and the location could not have been better—right across the street from the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants and food options. It was also very convenient to have both on-site parking and additional parking outside.
We did have one issue with the air conditioner not working for a day, but once we notified the front desk, it was fixed quickly. The staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the owner came across as a bit rude at times, which affected our experience slightly.
Another thing to note is that there is no working elevator. There is one in the building, but it seemed to be out of order during our stay. Since the building is three stories, carrying luggage up the stairs can be difficult, and you may need to pay someone to help bring your bags up.
Overall, despite a few inconveniences, we had a great experience. The apartment was spacious, the area felt safe and friendly, and the beach and nearby amenities made it a wonderful place to stay. We would still recommend it for the location, space, and cleanliness.
We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at this property! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The location was unbeatable—oceanfront with breathtaking views from our balcony that we enjoyed every day. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.
The property itself was immaculate, with well-stocked amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cozy furnishings to the fully equipped kitchen. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The real stars, however, were the staff. Their exceptional hospitality made all the difference. They were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure every aspect of our stay was perfect. Whether it was answering questions, offering recommendations, or just their warm demeanor, they made us feel so welcome.
This property is a gem, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. If you’re looking for an unforgettable vacation with stunning views, great amenities, and top-notch service, this is the place to stay. Highly recommend!
The apartments are spacious and clean, the balcony/terrace has ample space. The pool is ok and decent size but the jacuzzi was a plus for me because the weather wasn’t the hottest at the time of my travel. The jacuzzi doesn’t get as hot as what I would be accustomed to, but none the less it was a perk. The beachfront view is amazing! Can’t go wrong with breakfast on the beach with a limited yet satisfying menu that offers a traditional Dominican/carribean breakfast or an American continental delight, either or fresh fruit and coffee is always available and accompanies whatever you choose! My rating is 4/5 because they only provide 1 key for our apartment and we were a family of 5… there was also a discrepancy with my overall payment because although one books with a 3rd party such as bookings or Expedia there’s still an additional international charge plus processing charge if paying at the hotel with your debit/credit card. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and my family enjoyed it.
I had a good experience over all, the place is just like what is shown in the pictures (just need to be really careful with the people). Although, There are a lot of mosquitoes, but they do give you a zapping racket. I just didn’t realize that I can use it on mosquitoes as well. Also, for payment they would prefer cash, or visa/Mastercard. Last, had an issue with one of the receptionist. I had her order food for us and she ordered it from this really cheap low quality place, and ended up charging me three times as much. Honesty is very import, and the staff shouldn’t abuse the guest’s trust.
Great location, many bars and restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful pool, everything very clean. No English spoken, so have your Google Translate ready. Nice wide beach. The road can be a little noisy at times. We felt very safe. Our first evening somehow my passport fell out of my purse on a lounge chair when we got up to take a walk. The groundskeeper turned it in, i was so thankful! Breakfast is a large buffet on the beach at the Colibre, a 30 sec walk.
The place was older and dirty looking. We did not even stay after checking in we left after 15 minutes. After complaining to the host and manager they argued with me that it was the best hotel on the beach. They wouldn’t refund any money. The family and I will never go back again.

Great location on the beach and rooms are decent with nice terrace.
Second time staying there. First time AC didn’t work, this time it worked in living area but we did not get cold air in bedroom. At 90 degrees it stays hot at night. Not great sleep in those conditions ;) if heat doesn’t bother you you’re fine… Staff / owner doesn’t seem to be too concerned about this.
Owner can be grumpy but his helper, Simon, who also speaks english, is absolutely professional, polite and pleasant to work with. If you're offered a *free* upgrade, don't take it. You will be asked to pay a surcharge the next day or move to what you booked initially which is annoying. We had to move the 2nd because we took the bait.
This hotel is just close enough to be within walking distance of downtown (approx 20 minutes). Would come here again.
