The room is very interesting, and I love the theme and the memorabilia. It is getting worn down a bit. The lighting in the bathroom remains an issue. The coffee maker (Keurig) actually needs k-cups, not what was provided. Ran out of shampoo. There was a hair on the top cover of the bed (hopefully from the cleaners). It was a fun place to stay. It just could’ve been so much better. Had these little things been addressed. You would only take around one hour of home improvement to make it outstanding.

THIS IS NOT A LISTING FOR THE PALMS HOTEL AND CASINO! The address is actually for Palms Place, next door. This is a VRBO, not a hotel booking. That wasn't abundantly clear when I booked. The bad: I tried to check in to the front desk at the Palms. They couldnt find my reservation. Took the front desk person and I about 20 minutes to examine the minute difference in the addess.. Sent me to the end of the block at Palms Place. They couldn't find my reservation. All the time, I've learned this is a VRBO listing and thru their app, I'm calling, texting.... No answer for over an hour. When you read the email that was sent to confirm you reservation from Expedia, it says you'll receive an email to give directions to check in. I received no such email. 90 minutes later, with VRBO trying to contact the host, the host finally responds and I'm finally able to check in after he sends an email to the front desk. TERRIBLE CHECK IN PROCESS. Room needed maintenance, lights were out/didn't work, there was a dozen moths in the room that fluttered around, refrigerator didn't work, mattress had a giant soft dip on the left side, no daily or even every other day cleaning. The good: Something was going on in Vegas that weekend. Music Festival, leftovers of a Google confrerence, other converences according to a taxi guy. room on the stip that weekend were 500-600. This was cheap and close enough. Pic of room was representative of the actual room for the most part.
