"First, I arrive at 2:15pm was told check-in isn't until 3pm come back. So, I come back after 3, the room I want isn't clean, was told technically the maids have until 5pm to finish cleaning. But we can check you in and you can come back after 5 to get the key. So, I come back after our concert around 9-10pm get my key. Wake up at 5:30 am use restroom, lay back down hear running water. Go into restroom and water is running down the walls and out the celling around light fixture and around where the shower head is connected. We get dressed, pack our bags go and check out let them know what happened and all I get is we are Sorry. I was supposed to stay 2 nights; I cut it to 1. Was never offered a refund and had to pay for 2 nights. I will never stay with motel 6 again."

"Nice staff, very clean, Parking was nice, cool older hotel. For in late didnt have a chance to check out the bar or the Huge pool. Walking distance to the casinos/river walk. I would stay here again ."

"Air conditioner in room did not work. Extremely noisy room as it faced the train tracks. Pillows were awful. Overall, the room was very dated and reeked of cigarette smoke."

"No one informed us the pool was closed thru out the entire experience. From booking to check in. There was no information in the rooms providing information on the hours of anything the hotel provided. Not everyone is going to know where to find that information. We wouldnt have booked the room if wed have known the pool was closed. We basically wasted our one night stay 9 hours away. We feel cheated as expedia didnt inform anyone the pool was closed and cancelations arent an option. Even still we should have been informed at check in. Cancelations should be an option when the basic amenities of a Hotel are not provided. Our one time reno trip was wasted as the pool was the sole reason we booked with GSR. "

"Nice well-run hotel close to the Amtrak station. Staff were very helpful. I had dinner and breakfast at the cafe and both were excellent. The staff there were also quite professional. I was generally very happy with my experience there. "
