"I normally stay in Redding when i fish Hat Creek and the Pit River but stayed up in Fall River Mills this time and glad i did! Millz Manor is affordable, easy to find and one of the coziest hotels I've stayed in to date. Granted, the rooms are small but for a solo traveler (or two people) this place is perfect. Recently updated and the bed was very comfortable. I received an email a couple hours before check in with a code to enter the room and I felt very secure and had no noise from surrounding rooms. I grabbed some take out at the local Mexican Restaurant, La Cochina Michoacana and the food was excellent! I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there on my next trip!"

"Highlands is a gorgeous property. They have more luxurious rooms on one side of the road with the restaurant. We stayed other side of the road at the Village at the highlands. Simple but well appointed. Great for our 1 night stay. A few minutes drive to Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park. The restaurant was 5 star. Delicious, make a reservation. Staff was awesome."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. This is one of the most well-equipped VRBO properties we have stayed at. There are so many nice touches - nightlights, cozy fleece blankets everywhere, recliners for relaxing, enough towels for an army, extra tooth brushes, and even a glow in the dark toilet seat. The kitchen has everything, including top notch Le Creuset cookware. We enjoyed relaxing in the zero gravity chairs on the back deck. There's good Starlink internet, good water pressure in the shower, even a washer and dryer. In short, everything you could ask for in a vacation property."

After a day of mountain biking or kayaking, it was a cozy and comfortable place to retire to for the day.
