"Clean room, easy parking, easy online checkin and checkout. Clise to Lassen National Park. Beautiful meadow outside of room with a creek flowing through. Mountain view. Nice tv, but I had to log in to my own Roku account to watch anything. Wifi was good. All in all a very good experience..We will definitely be back."

When they provide a non-smoking room that is what you get; not a room that has been sprayed to disguise cigarette odors that makes it smell as bad or worse than just cigarettes. I am a former smoker who cannot abide even walking by someone smoking outdoors. I do not rate frequently. These proprietors really make the effort and it shows. They're also very nice people. Anderson is a good layover on a long road trip, and Motel 6 Anderson is within walking distance of groceries and fast food too. We've stayed there before, and look forward to returning."

"Room was good sized. We also didn't hear the other guests at all inside the room. All requests were handled promptly. We paid a discounted rate through Expedia, and for that reason, it was a bargain for what you got. We didn't eat at the onsite restaurant (which was a little pricey for us), but it might have been good.The best part was the beautiful grounds and being right on the river. "

"The lobby was clean and updated, and the staff was friendly. However, it was a different experience upon arrival at the rooms. The carpet in the room looked as if it had never been vacuumed or cleaned, and even the TV remote was grimy. "

"The host was very nice! The kitchen was very well equipped and the living room furniture was comfortable. Everything was very clean, if not a little run down. We had to unplug the very strong room fresheners. There were a lot of silly decorations cluttering the countertops and every corner, the space felt crowded. Good linens but for the higher end price, I would expect a much better mattress. Also there was no door on the bedroom so it was impossible to get away from my snoring partner. With that and the lumpy bed, I got no sleep for two nights so had to cut our stay a day short. I would not stay there again."
