"The staff and property are five star. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. The spa and pool area are beautiful. Frankie at the front desk was very informative on activities to do in the area. This is the only property to stay at when visiting Cinque Terra. You want to stay in Levanto which has many shops, restaurants and beach compared to the Cinque Terra cities which are overcrowded. Many thanks to the general manager and his staff. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the excelsior palace. Beautiful hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful and always on hand. We arrived and were showed to our rooms with a gift waiting for us on arrival. Breakfast was great aswell. I wouldn’t say the rooms were soundproof. We could hear our neighbour on the phone and the people above but thankfully I already were ear plugs at night. The only thing I would suggest changing would be the paper cups in the room with the kettle. For a 5 star hotel I would really expect ceramic mugs. we would definitely reccomend staying here and would stay again. "

"Amazing Place! The view was exceptional, beyond description! Our room opened up to a veranda overlooking the Mediterranean with views of Vernazza and Monterosso. The accommodations were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and the presentation was a 10! I can’t wait to return. One note, it is a little way from town up the hill so you will need a taxi or there is a hiking trail that will take about an hour uphill or 20-30 minutes downhill to town."

"This is a very well run campground. We had many instructions before arriving which made Check in very easy. We stayed in a bungalow. They are nearly brand new. We paid for bed and bath linen. Everything was great. The bar/store area is great too with options for drinks, coffee and fresh brioche in the morning. We would come back in a heart beat. One thing to note, the tenting area and bungalows are in different areas which involve stairs. It was not a problem for us but if you have large suit cases it might be an issue. "
