Top Lawrence County Hotel Reviews

Bass Pro Shops Angler's Lodge

8/10 Good

"I have stayed here several times and the experience was always great. My first night on this stay I was awakened at 4:30am by a door opening and closing several times. At 5:00 am I heard laughing and talking down the hall towards the check in area . I opened my door and saw it was staff and asked them if they could quiet down so I could sleep. I never went back to sleep. I talked to the front desk staff when I was leaving that morning and they took down the information and said they would address it with management and the staff would be addressed about it. The next night night was a great."

Super 8 by Wyndham Carthage

"We booked 3 rooms because the pics showed that they have been updated with laminate flooring. Carpet is a big no as I suffer from dust allergies. Our rooms were located on the 2nd floor & were not updated & all had carpet. There is also no elevator. I voiced my concerns to the staff regarding the outdated rooms as this is not what we saw online when we booked. The rooms are in the process of being updated, but have not reached the 2nd floor yet. Staff was very eager to move us to the 1st floor. The motel itself is older. Breakfast has a lot of improvement to be made yet. I have no doubt that once the motel is 100% renovated, that it will be a beautiful place as it has great bones and a great location. Again, the owners went above and beyond to assure that we were happy."

Tru by Hilton Springfield Downtown

"This is a great location in Springfield - very close to many cool attractions and within reasonable walking distance. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The only negatives were no view out of our window (it overlooked the parking lot) and the towels felt rough, not plush. While we didn't stay for breakfast, there was plenty to choose from and the coffee was good."
