"Very nice new hotel near the railway station and a large shopping mall. The staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and calling a taxi. The room was really nice and comfortable. Perfect place for a brief stay in Lyon on our way back to Paris from Chamonix. "

Very comfortable double bed with private bathroom for a very good price. It’s a 20 min commute to the city centre but only 10 min walk tog he Lyon train station. I would be happy to stay here again. "We were there in very hot weather and the airconditioning in the room and the rooftop restaurant were very good. Our room facing the river with roadway in between was surprisingly quiet due to double windows. Rooftop restaurant (Les 3 Domes) was very impressive with floor to ceiling glass and impressive views of the old city, the river, and the newer city. Mid-century deluxe decor. Very good food and we enjoyed dinner there twice. Location is excellent with the luxury Intercontinental hotel and "Grand Dome" complex 1 block away. The main pedestrian shopping zone is 2 blocks away and is great for people watching and shopping. Restaurants are all around the pedestrian zone offering a wide range of choices within walking distance.We were able to spend 3 nights there while only walking. Parking isn't cheap (about Eu30 night) but the valet parking garage under the hotel is extremely convenient and safe. In summary we would certainly stay in this hotel on our next vist. It offers a near perfect balance of convenience, quality, and value. "
