"Warm welcome. Lovely room, cosy, bright, with well stocked tea and coffee tray. Very comfortable bed, very quiet, good sleep. Idyllic."

"The place is beautiful and the rooms are nice. However, I didn't not like behaviour of one receptionist at front desk. I just asked whether is there any lake view room available. She started with rudely telling no we are full and then she started telling, we have members who pays a lot of money so we give them those room first, and you just booked the room 10 days before. Our members have booked a year before. Well I didn't want that information with so much rudeness and arrogance, a simple no would have worked. On top of that, heater was not working in the main bedroom which we realised in night. after informing it reception they gave a spare electric heater and told it will be fixed next day morning. However, it was not fixed till we left the place which means for next 3 days. Apart from these I have really enjoyed my stay."

"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping areas are full. A great base if you want to explore the Lake District."

"Lovely stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in a superior family room which was comfortable and well appointed. Nice modern bathroom, crisp sheets. Breakfast was self service - hot food was fresh and well cooked. Decent little pool and sauna/steam room. Didn’t use the small gym but that didn’t look busy. Very pretty location. We will be back. "
