A really quiet and relaxing environment both in the room, dining room and bar. The dining room opens up onto a really good view of a lake and mountains. "Lovely, clean albeit quite a small room. The property is a short walk from the town centre of Ullapool. The host explained everything we needed to know about our stay upon arrival. The only negative was the bed was quite creaky. "

Breakfast was really good - no lack of choice. Eating in the Caley Restaurant was a great way to recover each evening - a good choice on the menu, perect portions and very well-priced "

"Excellent comfy and friendly hotel. Service excellent. The hotel itself is a little tired. It is closing a the end of the season for two years major refurbishment. I do hope they don’t alter the ambience or try to cater for the.masses. The people who stay there as it islquiet, a bit old fashioned and serves an excellent fresh local food. Thank goodness it’s not like a gastro pub with rooms! The views are magnificent even in the rain. Lovely walks and a few mountains to climb."
