"Peaceful location with friendly helpful host. Property is stunning, our room with the kitchenette was well stocked and comfortable. Room was clean, bathroom boosted not just cleanliness but a hot shower with water pressure. "

"Lovely friendly people, comfortable room and great food. If you are staying in one of the attic rooms, just be aware that the shower may be hand held as there isn't room for a normal shower due to the slope of the roof. Great view of the castle though!"

"They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. The other thing that didn’t work was the cold water in the shower it was very dangerous if a young or old person was to use it and all that came out was boiling water. Not happy with our stay lovely setting but will it return."

"This is a wonderful property that was a pleasure to stay in. It has so many lovely features and nice touches. The kitchen is very well equipped and the communal area is particularly pleasing. "This is a wonderful rental and location. The east coast of Scotland is very nice, and there are no midges in June!! The cottage is located in a wonderful location with a short walk to a small waterfall. The cottage is very comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed."
