"The hotel is off the beaten path and sits above Dingwall and anyone taking mass transportation to Dingwall should be aware that taxi and bus service to the property is limited. If you are carrying light luggage, and you are healthy and feel inclined, you can walk the 20 minutes from the train terminal. I cannot overstate that the walk is all uphill! Dingwall is very quaint and small, so there are only a couple of spots to get food or a pint of ale before 3 pm, but the property has a nice pub and food prices are relatively comparable."

"Hotel was excellent, clean, looks like quite recently done up. Staff all very friendly and helpful. No lifts, but staff offered to carry luggage to room. Food in restaurant was delicious and very reasonable. It was actually cheaper eating in Hotel than other places round about. Still high season at end of September. Was a bit dissapointed in breakfast cereal choice, as all i could find was cereal boxes. Last morning after breakfast, I found granola in a high up, top wooden bowl, with dried fruit, next to fruit juices! I'm too short to see into the top bowl! Good choice cooked breakfast. "

"Really friendly check in. Informative gave us later check out due to the nature of our stay. Room very spacious and clean. However room very cold radiator doesnt work. Called the number at reception they brought a portable heater which was fab. If it had just been my partner & myself staying it"
