"We've stayed in many cabins across Maine and this is our favorite! Everything we needed was there plus bonuses like kayaks, canoe, paddleboat, etc.. A waterfront fire pit with a beautiful view and large deck overlooking the lake puts the Lake House a step above others! Also, the town of Lincoln and surrounding areas have several awesome restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The location is withing 2 hrs driving to the trails at the base of Katahdin, many beautiful lakes, streams, rivers, and bogs, the Canadian border, and the coast around Acadia or even down to Cutler! We hope to stay longer here a couple of times of year from now on."

"My family ranged in age from 19 to 70 and the property provided the perfect backdrop for all our events and antics. The pond surprised us with two good catches and a few bass. We ventured out and about into the town of Lincoln, Bangor and Aroostook county. We even had several conversations with the neighbors. Thank you for the quick responses to our questions and concerns."

"Quiet and relaxing"

"This hidden gem is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Right on the lake and minutes from great hiking, this place is hard to beat! Secluded yet close enough to Lincoln and Millinocket in case you need supplies or want to sample local food and beer. The water was still a bit cold so we didn't take advantage of the kayaks but would have loved to. We will surely be back another time!!"

"We planned a family reunion around the total eclipse of April 8. Though viewing it required a further drive north, this house was a perfect place for our reunion. We were so appreciative and grateful for how well it supported and enhanced an amazing time together all around. We felt very lucky with our choice and its availability! It is remarkably well fitted out. It is especially well supplied in the kitchen; the bathrooms and bedrooms are well supplied too. It seemed that anything we could want or need was there to be found. The house design flows smoothly, enabling relaxed interaction with a spacious common space and well-functioning kitchen. Even with three families including three grandchildren, we had room to spare, never feeling overcrowded. The kids' room is amazing, with the blackboard wall there, well supplied with chalk, a very popular highlight! The kids loved the balcony over the living room, which also enhanced the togetherness flow. Plenty of natural light, while the parents really appreciated the darkening curtains. Lovely, ample views across the very near lake were a joy. The deck overlooking the lake is very spacious, with a convenient barbeque space to the side. Huge garage. The two kayaks, the canoe (and life jackets) are surely a boon for enjoying the lake in the summer, but do require the summertime dock installation for access. The host is very kind and very responsive. Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommended."

"It was a very nice cozy cabin. Very clean and has everything you need for your stay. The only negative thing was that the stairs to the lift were a little steep but I should have anticipated that with my age (mid 50's). Owner answered any questions we had"

"Our stay at Stephanie's place couldn't have been more perfect. The place is very new, with a large, well-kitted-out kitchen (we did our own cooking instead of going out). The bedrooms are more comfortable and spacious than they look in the photos; the open living room/kitchen, dining area is large, airy, and comfortable. In addition to the gorgeous lake views from the two sets of sliding doors, water can be seen through side windows on both sides of the house: It's a lovely location. The dock wasn't in yet, since this was an early-in-the-year rental, but we found plenty of room to place chairs right by the shore from which to watch the eclipse. This would be a great place for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway on a beautiful Maine lake."

"It was beautifully maintained? My room was in the design of an old Maine Camp, it was really well done. The beds were comfortable and there was a microwave, refrigerator and even a little breakfast nook. A great place to stay"
