"I was looking for a hotel to stay in right outside of the avenue of giants so I could start my day driving through it on my way to eureka. I wanted to maximize my first day of vacation after flying into San Fran and ended up not getting into Redway until 12:30am. The hotel staff were flexible and were able to provide us with late check in. I’m medium boujee about hotels but also on a medium budget, especially when it’s just a quick sleep over. My top priorities are safety, cleanliness, and location. It checked all the boxes. I was nervous about the location being remote or sketchy but it was right next to a restaurant and a gas station and it felt safe. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place in the area for a moderate price. "

"Very nice lady at the front desk. She gave me restaurant recommendations and showed me a menu from the one she highly recommended. The room was very nice, clean and overlooked the pool area. Great place to stay. I can’t say much for the town though—quite run down!"

"There were so many things to love about this house and we can’t wait to stay here again! *Host was an excellent communicator, helpful and always prompt with answering questions.*House was very clean & welcoming and looked just like the pictures (better in person, actually). I LOVED how the top floor had so many windows for natural light and views of both the mountains & the ocean. *Very spacious with comfortable furniture throughout. The various balconies/patios also offered excellent views both during the day and at night.*Loved the master bedroom & bathroom! So spacious with an awesome shower that had two separate shower heads. *Really appreciated the filtered water dispenser in the kitchen and the ability to open a window right by the stove. *I completely forgot to take pictures of things inside, but I would 100% recommend staying here."

"We had an awesome stay at Redwoods River Resort! The location couldn’t be better nestled right near the Avenue of the Giants with beautiful river access just steps away. We were stoked to find the pub open and spent a relaxing evening with cold beers and a few games of shuffleboard. Our room was super clean and cozy, with a convenient kitchenette that made cooking easy. We also learned about all the fun events and yearly competitions the resort hosts now we’re already planning a return trip so we can experience one of them firsthand!"
