"The property is located near several universities. Lots of people around and lots of bicycles. Bikers did not seem to pay attention to people crossing streets. I reserved 2 studio apartments with king beds. my room was updated to a large room, while the other room was a studio (?) on the fourth floor with 8 inch beams crossing through the room, including the bathroom. Very difficult for a 6'3" gentleman."

"This is a nice place,the area was pretty and the cabin was nicely furnished but be aware that no soap, shampoo or dish soap is provided, the toilet room is also very small( like airplane or smaller) Also there is a $95 fee for bed linens as well as a cleaning fee and a deposit on top of what you already paid. "Wonderful hotel, excellent buffet breakfast with the option to order made-to-order items as well such as omelettes, Dutch pancakes, etc. Good assortment of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice daily and wonderful coffee. Welcome drink of your choice for each guest. Very well situated, we walked to every destination. Grocery store and drugstore a block away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in every way and would stay here next time! "

"I stayed at the Eden Hotel in June 2024. The staff was friendly, helpful, and not obtrusive. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The lobby was calm, stylish, and welcoming. This hotel is good for thoughtful tourists. Thankfully, it did not seem to cater to large gangs of drunk young people. The location was perfect for accessing the major tourist destinations, including Dam square, Rembrandtplein square, Amsterdam Centraal train station, Jordaan, museum district, De Pijp. We mostly walked to these places, but occasionally used the tram stop at Rembrandtplein square, which is conveniently close to the hotel. The tram is a good option for travel between the Eden and Amsterdam Centraal. I stayed in a double room on the third floor with a fantastic view of the Singel. The room had complementary espresso coffee (very nice) and still water (glass bottle). The bed was comfortable. By American hotel standards, the room was not large, but it was fine for staying in Amsterdam, because we spent most of our time exploring the city. Before our stay, I was a little concerned about the noise level at night, but it was fine and I slept well. My only suggestion - not a complaint - is that it would have been nice to swing open the window. The window had a horizontal hinge at the top that allows one to crack open the bottom by only a few inches. Nevertheless, that opening provided a nice breeze and pleasant sounds of canal life below. I did not have breakfast. "
