Lemon Bay Motel

"This Motel was wonderful, perfect room, nice sized fridge, very nice big shower. The room was nice, cold and clean. Love that you have windows to open. The owners were so kind. Our neighbors were very nice, nobody bothers you. It was nice not having housekeeping bothering you, or waiting to go in your room. If we needed anything a guy was on site to help if we needed more towels or trash bags and he was very nice to talk to. We were able to just enjoy our stay and it was awesome . I can't remember staying in a place that just felt so comfortable but this one is definitely the spot for us so far. It's quite and very close to everything. I honestly was surprised with it being on a main road that the traffic would be bad or you were hear loud music from cars but none of that happened. We honestly didn't want to leave. Parking was perfect, we have a very big truck and we were able to park right by our room. They also have An area to park your boat or trailer. Love the cameras, it makes you feel safe. 711 is right next door and Walmart is right down the street. They have awesome TV channels, it was like being at home, we didn't miss anything:) We stayed 4 days and the price wasn't too bad considering it's not far from the beaches. We highly recommend Lemon Bay Motel. I think next time I'll bring my blower though so I can get rid of the sand mess I made in the parking lot. I felt so bad. Also love the blinds. No light gets through"

"This was the perfect experience. Check in & check out as simple as simple can be. The property was well maintained. Extremely clean. You can definitely tell as soon as you step foot inside, the owners are committed to excellence. Great location, depending on your needs of course. Worked out great for us as we were touring houses in Englewood, Venice, Port Charolette and Rotondo West. Perfectly centralzed. Easy drive to beach. Here is the best part, I rarely can sleep in a strange bed. Plus, due to pelvic tendonitis I've been unable to sleep well. Best sleep I've had in literally 8 months. The matress is amazing. Would love a private message from owners to get more info on that matress."

The house was spotless, the dock was perfect for our boat, and the host was amazing - even setting us up with a very thoughtful "welcome pack" with snacks and beverages upon arrival. "Pros: clean and affordable. nice screened in back porch and a functioning barbeque was great. washer and dryer in garage was a nice touch as well. Kitchen a bit small but functional.Cons: we didn't receive access instructions before arriving so had to contact the host. barbeque had not been cleaned so flamed up with all the grease. no can opener provided. no cable tv so no local news, etc. The door has a keypad, but not used so have to use a key box if you don't want to risk losing the key. no steak knives. internet is not strong...in and out."

"We arrived too very cold, unexpected weather. The first night the temp was down to 54 degrees in the house. I called Sergio the next morning and he was quick to order wall heater for the living room. We already had space heaters in each bedroom so after that we were comfortable. The house was clean and nicely decorated. All of the beds were comfortable which is always a plus. Because we were there for 6 weeks, we did go to a garage sale and purchase some additional dishes. The location was perfect. The walk to town is only a mile and it is a good place to grab a coffee and read. There are always activities close by and the beach is the real draw.It is in a quiet neighborhood. The owners were quick to reply. I would definitely go back again."
