"What a great place and great location! Very well maintained property and pool area is terrific! We also found its location to the Dearborn street district so convenient. Places to shop, eat, and drink so close. We went to arts fair and a music festival down there, basically walkable if you wanted. Englewood beach is about 15 minutes away, downtown Venice only about 20. Host is very responsive. Home furnishings are very comfortable . Absolutely staying here again! "

"The Pelican cottage at Manasota Beach Club was a little slice of heaven. A quaint little cottage from a simpler time, this was exactly what was needed for a calm, relaxing trip. Check-in couldn’t have been easier, as simple as reading an email. The cottage was clean and comfortable, exactly as listed and described. The two most important questions - was the bed comfortable and how was the water pressure? From someone who doesn’t sleep well in a strange bed, this bed was a dream. Slept through the night our entire trip. And the water pressure in the shower was perfect. Strong enough to feel soothing without stripping skin. There were several other people at the resort but it felt like we were alone in this little haven. The only sound was the wind and the waves. The beach is semi-private to the best of my knowledge and we had a huge piece to ourselves. We are already talking about the next opportunity to visit and are looking forward to returning to Manasota Key and the Manasota Beach Club. "

"This was a wonderful location and the owner was nice communicative. The place was super clean with the exception of some kitchen items perhaps an oversight because we were the first to rent here. Definitely needs window treatments on the bedroom and bathroom windows but we think this will quickly become a favorite spot for vacationers. "

"All about location!! Great quiet beach. For the price I did expect higher end finishes. Travertine tile throughout and palatial master were nice. Quality of kitchen cabinets and wares and living room furniture were renter grade and lower than expected for the price. beach umbrellas and access to direct TV were appreciated. Manager great communication. "

"Room is clean. Bed is comfortable. There is a keurig for coffee but if you don't use that kind of coffee then you're out of luck there.A/C works well plus 2 ceiling fans and a floor fan.our room was like an ice box. We used the beach chairs and the kayaks and life vests. The game room is fun as well: ping pong, fooz ball, mini golf put, and more. The pool is heated! The grounds were very natural.loved it here. We had a deck with a view of the sea."

"WOW! WOW! WOW! Is all we can say! Gathering for 5 of us grade school pals after 50 years!! Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location. We never left. Had deliveries come to us!! Wonderful beach & sunsets. Pretty private. Shark teeth galore!! Only downfall we'd have to say was little tricky on spiral staircase up and down on our old joints & bones but otherwise, AMAZING!!! Thanks again sooooo much! Hope to be back sometime!!"

"The view from the wrap around deck, and from the living room and bedroom was fantastic! Right on the beach. You can view the best sunsets ever. The kitchen is stocked with most what you need for preparing meals. The extra “guest room” was a very special touch. Added privacy. The decor is comfortable throughout. The area was hit by a hurricane a few years ago, and there is a lot of work being done on homes and yards up and down the key. Andrew was responsive with any issue I had."
