"I would never stay in this hotel again. 1) When you arrive at Hotel Kolbergarten, it looks like it is closed -- no lights on, no signs of life. 2) After you wander around for a few minutes, you find a small sign that says you have to check in for your hotel at a different hotel. 3) Once you figure out where this other hotel is and how to get there, you have to deal with them taking (and keeping) all sorts of unnecessary personal information.... after waiting 20 minutes to be helped. 4) Once you pay your "tourist tax", you have to make your way back to the dark hotel. 5) ... that is unless you have to park a car, which requires you to find and park in a public lot. 6) When you checkout, the staff are overwhelmed, which means you again have to wait for 20 minutes to be helped or you just leave a key at the front desk and hope for the best. On the plus side, the breakfast was good... but it too is in the other hotel."

"Great stay for anyone looking to stay in Bad Tolz or the surrounding area. Onsite parking which is really helpful, room was spotless and spacious. Breakfast has alot of options and good quality, I will returning when im next visiting. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Ferienwohnung Arlet very much. The two bedroom apartment was spacious, bright, clean and quiet. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped. The bathroom had a large shower and a separate bathtub. We especially enjoyed the shower with it's great flow of hot water. We chose this apartment due to its proximity to the Gaissach train stop. This stop was only a two minute walk from the apartment. We took the train into Munchen on two different days to attend Oktoberfest. A bank (Raiffeisen Bank im Oberland) with an ATM was within walking distance as well. This apartment is a great location if you are planning to visit Munchen, Bad Tolz, the Tegernsee or Mittenwald.
