"We rented this house for our visit to Ft. Leonard Wood for our son's graduation. The location was perfect...just a 15 minute drive to the base, well within the allowed limits for Family Day. The house was extremely clean and the mattresses were very comfortable! Vanessa, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. She provided recommendations of places to eat at. The house was well equipped for cooking. We used the grill both days we were there. I don't anticipate ever needing to go back to Ft....

"The house is a little hard to find, but once you get there, and get up the driveway, you will love it. It's nicely furnished with comfy beds and everything you need in the kitchen. There is a washer and dryer, both of which work well, good TVs, and a really nice bathroom with very hot water and good water pressure. The porch would be relaxing to lounge on in warm weather, and you can get groceries and restaurant meals right nearby. We really enjoyed the house on the hill!"

"We booked for a Tuesday thru Friday. My son was graduating from the Army base. We arrived from California in the evening. Check in was super easy. The house was a lot bigger than expected. It was very clean, with all the little touches to feel at home. Would definitely stay again."

"This little house is a gem: a charming, beautifully restored 19th century cottage. Everything in the house is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Think hobbit house, if the hobbits hired Martha Stewart. We stayed two nights, as a stop over during a long road trip, and it was nearly perfect. Highly recommended."

"The place was perfect for what we wanted. We were attending our daughter’s graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. Perfect location for that only like 10 min from the base. We were able to bring her there during her family day and after her graduation to spend quality time and have her back by 6 no problem. The place was clean and was perfect. "My husband and I had a great time staying at this lovely VRBO! It was serene, peaceful. The owners warned us about a millipede issue ahead of our arrival which was very helpful. The critters are with you out here in the middle of nowhere, that’s for sure! If you’re looking a spot to getaway that’s quiet, secluded and peaceful this is the spot, no doubt!"
