"This is a lovely grand hotel, you really couldn't get a much better location at the foot of Lake Como. Our room looked directly over the lake, access to the shops and multitude of restaurants took only a few minutes. The hotel had lovely period features, dining room was stunning and our room though on the small side was very cosy, the bed exceptionally comfortable and had more than adequate storage. Breakfast was good and the cleaners did a brilliant job. All in all highly recommended."

"Overall, a great hotel to stay at in Como. The location is perfect, right around wonderful restaurants to eat at, and of course by the harbor for easy access to boat travel. The room was nice and clean as well as a perfect balcony view over the harbor/lake Como itself. Breakfast was good and the staff were all very friendly including help with parking. Would definitely recommend if looking for an easy and comfortable hotel to stay at in Como. No complaints. "

"Our stay was fabulous!! Daniel couldn’t do enough for you. He made our stay feel like we were visiting a favourite uncle, with an en suite bedroom in his lovely home. The view from our room was breathtaking! We were on a driving holiday so had our car, which we parked in the grounds of the house behind electronic gates (for which we were given a key fob to activate). The approach hover is very tricky. My car is 1.88m wide, the gap which I had to navigate through is 1.89m wide, and can only be accessed by driving past the entrance, turning around at the post office and approaching from the other direction. Daniel will guide you in. If you have a small car, no problem, alternatively you can pay €30 for one weeks parking at the train station, which is two minutes walk away."
