"This house is in a perfect location to be able to walk to all the stores and restaurants in Grand Marais. The view of the private beach is breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The home is meticulously clean with all the furnishings you could want. The hosts are amazing communicators and are very welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this home! If you want to get away and unplug, this is the perfect retreat for you!"

"Rented this based on reviews. This house is spacious, and well appointed. Had everything we needed. Great layout for a large group. However, needs maintenance. Such as. Recliners in family room need to be cleaned. Stains on arms and headrest. Dishwasher needs to be bolted in. You open door and whole dishwasher slides forward. Shower heads in 2 of bathrooms sprayed everywhere except down. Ceiling fan in master broken. Molly was great to help as she could. Great place but with good cleaning and maintenance would be even better."

"Great house to rent near Pictured Rock National Park. The house is walking distance to the beach and centrally located between Pictured Rock National Park and Tahquamenon Falls. The house has a fire pit, bikes, a grill and all the kitchen appliances you need to make your favorite meals. We were there on a girls trip but I will definitely be bringing my family back!"

Agate Beach House - waterfront in Grand Marais

"We enjoyed our stay at this rental which is located right next to the very busy Agate Beach and parking lot. Pictured Rocks attractions were 30 minutes west, great rock hunting to the east, and a handful of restaurants are within walking distance. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Future renters might want to bring folding chairs as there are none at the property which made it difficult for our group to gather around an outdoor fire or sit comfortably on the rooftop porch. The rental has lots of windows, creating a good cross-breeze which was nice."

"Great communication from the host. The property was exactly how it was listed, no surprises. Its an old house so the stairs to the 2nd floor are a little tight and floors are a little squeaky. Toilet can be a little tempermental. Other than that the proximity to the beach is outstanding. Kitchen and Dining room have plenty of space. It was peaceful, and I slept great. We (4 of us) had a good time and we would book again."
