"We were definitely wowed! Our stay was happy and comfortable. The mobile home was very clean and well kept. The owners are super nice and thought of everything that you will need to make your stay an incredible one. There was all the stuff you would need for a dog and even tub toys for children, on top of all of the usual things that you need to run a household. It's also in town and just one block away from the campground.If you go a little further, you're on Agate Beach. I definitely give them 10 out of 10 stars for this place. Ty Walt and Christine. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and was Convenient to the beach and restaurants Communicating with Molly was easy and she was able to recommend a pasty restaurant to try. We Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend the rock tour with Molly and Chet. We found a ton of yooperlites! The flashlights they provided were excellent and the rock hunting tips they gave us were pivotal to the success and enjoyment of our trip."

"The Plover Retreat is an adorable, cozy cabin. Close to downtown Grand Marais and a short drive to Lake Superior and Pictured Bay Rocks National Lakeshore. The cabin was clean, with day to find and perfect. It was just my husband and myself, we enjoyed the deck and cooking a few meals in the kitchen."

"Great location just a short drive to town and 10 miles to the Rocks on Lake Superior. Upon arrival, we were early for check in, we were greeted by Joan and her faithful companion, Cocoa. Unit is a downstairs, private entry. A king bedroom, and a queen bedroom, off the living and dining room. Bunkbeds off the Dining Room, double bed is n bottom, but not in a separate bedroom. Has its own seating area with couch and chair. Another seating area in Living room with 1 TV. Smaller kitchen but very workable. Cute bathroom and good water pressure in the shower. Has a bathtub. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately we had high winds and the power went out about 9 pm. No problem though. The unit had candles and Joan brought us another one. We also had battery lights/lanterns. Power came back on during the night. Only 2 stores in town were open. No Restaurant’s were open yet. But that’s why we booked this place and brought our own food. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back. Thank You Joan for your hospitality."
