"The house was lovely and kitchen was stocked very nicely. The only issue we had was we arrived during the most hazardous time of the smoke from Canada and had to keep the windows closed. Since there isn’t any air conditioning, it quickly heated up the house while cooking. Not sure what could have helped with that situation though. We loved the vinyl record collection and learned to play Rummikub from the assortment of games in the bedroom. Very fun. With the campground across the street and the lake right beyond that, there was always something to see. Even though Grand Marais is a tiny place there were some very nice places to eat and the Dream Bean was the cutest coffee place ever! The six of us enjoyed the house and location very much."
