We could not expect anything better while staying at Ripplewood in Lijang, Yunnam, China. We were treated like part of their family. I stayed in the Suite at Hotel Indigo Lijiang Ancient Town, and it was truly remarkable. I booked to stay in this hotel by customers reviews in this app. Although the price to stay is on the higher side, but I think it's worth. The location is right in the center of the ancient town. However, this is a little crowded. If you don't mind the crowd. But if you are strictly for peace of mind, relaxing holiday than you better pick a hotel out of this location. The customer service in this hotel was great and food was good too.

Loved the hotel, excellent stay, environment, and Lijiang Old Town is walkable with many anemities. Definitely recommend. Staff is friendly, very friendly and quick to respond.

Conveniently located in the Old Town. But climbing up the stairs carrying luggages is very challenging for the seniors. It is not recommended for the seniors/people with mobility problems.

What can I say. I loved the hotel and staff. Yang is very helpful and speaks excellent English. He met me on the street where my taxi dropped me off and took me up to the hotel (it is up some stairs) and carried my suitcase for me. He will provide you with a map of Old Town Lijiang and explain how to reach the various locations. Good location and walkable to the old town

Very classical Chinese design with excellent wood and stone work all around. Located 3 minutes away from the old town entrance. Had a great time there.

We spent one night before flying out of China. The staff were very helpful and friendly despite our language barrier. They also arranged transportation to the airport. Breakfast offered American as well as Chinese options.
