"The nature here is absolutely fantastic — the beach walks and bike rides are truly the highlight. Just be prepared for a little “surprise” at checkout… about 20% extra on top of the fees and taxes on Orbitz, nicely labeled as a “nature preservation” fee. Gotta support the views, I guess 🙂 The property itself is a bit dated — especially the spa center. The pool, jacuzzi, and sauna have definitely seen better days, and the one-shower-per-locker-room setup with empty sample-size shampoo dispensers adds a certain… minimalist charm. It’s also very pet-friendly — which is great, unless it’s your neighbor’s dog enthusiastically trying to scratch through the connecting door all night. A truly immersive experience."

"Excellent beach view! We were lucky and had 4 days with GREAT weather, so looking for whales (sadly, we didn't see any) and checking the tide was super easy. A very easy 3-minute walk to the beach also made this convenient. The house was clean and had everything we needed to cook in. My only "complaint" (and not really an issue) was that the kitchen and living area is on the top floor -- with no bathroom on that level, so LOTS of stairs to navigate. I certainly got all my steps in each day! Check out was the easiest I've ever experienced -- not a ton of chores to do. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!"

"The house was great overall. Cozy, plenty of sleeping room. The kitchen was nicely furnished. The fridge and dishwasher were very clean, which was awesome! The mud room right at the entrance was really great to be able to clean off and keep mess limited in the house. We would stay here again. My one minor complaint was that the water heater was kind of small for a house that accommodates eight guests. We had to take really quick showers, turn the water off in between things, and wait a bit between showers. But once we figured out the trick, it was smooth and easy enough. Thanks for a great experience!"

"This was the perfect place for our mother/daughter getaway. Ocean front, comfy chairs, hot tub, separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Very quiet here. We had a relaxing time. The owners checked in via text each day to make sure we had everything we needed. We had the option of a late checkout of an additional hour for free; or 3 more hours for a fee. We happily accepted the later checkout with the fee. Why end a great weekend any earlier than we need to?"

"We were surprised that the only heat in the living area was the gas fireplace, which does not have a fan. We were very cold the first day/night. Then it snowed!! Had to use blankets to keep us a little comfy. Bedrooms have cadet heaters so rooms could be adjusted for warmth. We just dealt with it and did not contact host. Perhaps we should have. Grand boys loved hot tub."
