"The rooms showed there age but were kept up well. Clean and comfortable enough. A bit tight for those in wheelchairs. But, WOW, what a view. We just wanted to stay in the room and watch the waves! Who needs to shop! We booked through Expedia and did not get the room we ask for. Instead of 'Wheelchair access via an outside corridor' as shown in the listing, we got 17 outside steps. The staff was very helpful in getting us a different room for the wheelchair."

"This is supposed to be a golf and spa resort, so I booked a one-night stay because my son wanted to play golf there. Even though it was expensive for just one night — almost $450 before the resort fee — I decided to give it a try. What disappointed me the most was that Hotels.com never mentioned that the golf and spa benefits/credits are excluded when booking through a third party. At check-in, the front desk staff member, Kirsten, informed us that none of those benefits were included because of how we booked the reservation. As a result, we would have had to pay full price for golfing and spa services on top of the already high room rate. Either the resort should treat all guests the same regardless of where they book, or Hotels.com should clearly disclose that these benefits are excluded for third-party bookings. The staff were okay, but not especially welcoming or helpful. To make matters worse, when we entered our room, it smelled like someone had just used the restroom. We opened the doors and windows to air it out, but the smell still lingered. I’m not sure if it was a plumbing issue or something else, but it definitely made the room feel unpleasant. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back."

"We had a horrible experience. We checked into the hotel and dropped off all of our bags in our room then went out to dinner. Upon arriving back from dinner, our keys no longer worked. We went to the front desk and were advised that they had overbooked the hotel and put someone else in our room. They went into our room when we were out to dinner and removed all of our belongings and put them in storage and then gave someone else our room. Bottom line, they screwed up and we had to find another hotel to stay at. The manager, Moni was not helpful at all and just kept on blaming the receptionist instead of trying to resolve the issue."

"An absolutely stunning property - pictures don't do it justice. The ocean view is jaw dropping, and the private path to the beach is so convenient. The house has EVERYTHING you could need or want.... beach towels, fire pit including wood, gas grill with tools, outdoor seating for 10, a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with every appliance or tool you could think of. All off the rooms are nicely decorated, and the main living space is spacious and beautiful. The host was exceptionally attentive, answered questions promptly and provided tips and recommendations for the area. Excellent - five stars isn't enough!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The home was cozy and the view was amazing. The home is advertised as "beach front." It is actually on Cutler Bay, not the ocean, and the water only comes in at high tide but not much even then. You don't get any waves, just damp sand. The other issue we had was the dryer was broken. We discovered it the first night after washing a load of towels and swimwear and finding we had no way to dry the items. It turned out that they were waiting on a part for the dryer to arrive and it would not be fixed before our stay ended. That was fine, but it would have been great if we had been told this when checking, or even if an out of order sign was placed on the dryer. Other than those two items the home was lovely, clean and welcoming. Lovely neighborhood too!"

"Host Terrible. We had issues with our stay such as a plumbing leak, a disgusting hot tub, a disgusting couch, and a bed that broke. After spending over 1,200 to stay here, the host offered back 83. Outrageous! The place is old and outdated. The knobs fell off of cabinet doors. The hot tub, which had not been cleaned prior to our visit, looks directly into the neighbor's garage and front door. The neighbors are not excited about the rental property next door. We spent our Friday evening cleaning the place so that people were comfortable sitting on the couch. And cleaning up the plumbing spill.The layout of the home is multi-level so you walk in on a ground floor that has a bedroom like a bathroom, a living space, and a kitchen (where we had the plumbing issue and ended up on our hands and knees cleaning up a pipe leak) with a daybed in a "room". Then you go up two or three steps and go down two or three steps to enter into another room with two beds and a couch, television and bathroom. The bathroom has multiple steps to enter it. Upstairs, there is a full kitchen, a small deck with questionable footings, a bathroom and a bedroom. If the host was a good host, I would have given place three to four stars because its a nice location, Even though the place is old and outdated. But when a host fails to fix the issues as they arise and then fails to make adequate compensation for it, its a negative three stars. Would not stay w Casago again. Terrible host! Not worth it!"
