"This hotel is across the street from the huge, beautiful Hagley Park and Botanic Gardens and in a nice neighborhood with many restaurants within a couple of blocks walk. It is a top tier yet affordable hotel. The breakfast was the nicest hotel breakfast I have ever had. I have a dairy restriction and this breakfast is very accommodating. The gardens are beautiful in the spring! The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. Parking was easy and free. We stayed here at both the beginning and end of our road trip around the south island. I would exclusively stay here any time I return to Christchurch!"
