"Our family had a wonderful stay at The Lookout just before the start of the busy season in Door County. We found the property to be conveniently located, yet private and peaceful. It was a quiet, luxury retreat with amazing views of the stars, birds, deer, and wetlands behind the property. We have rented many vacation homes before, but this is in the top tier. The home has spacious bedrooms, private baths with luxury showers, comfortable common spaces, and every amenity imaginable. The contemporary architecture is beautifully complimented with well designed furnishings and original artwork throughout. The lookout tower views of the stars (especially with high power binoculars) are incredible. It's an ideal place for family groups, multi-generational trips, girls retreats, or couples traveling together. The kitchen is more than well stocked...it has everything! We were so impressed to have a full coffee/tea bar, spice drawer, and too many small appliances to count. The outdoor patio, fire pit, and porches are all great for gathering. Everything is clearly labeled, though some of the tech was beyond us. The well-stocked library was delightful. Our only recommendation would be a TV in the main living space and grab bars and seats in the showers. The hosts have thought of everything, down to the extra supplies, box fans, and gear to use on outings. We found the hosts quite welcoming and their communication was excellent. We would love to return again!"
