"While our stay was satisfactory the facility needs some updating. Our room smelled damp and musty. Also the lack of outlets in the room for charging our electronics is an example of not keeping up with the way people live today. Also the continental breakfast was rather limited to boiled eggs, yogurt and starches."

"A perfect place for our home base in Sister Bay for extended family! Hosts are wonderful, home is clean organized and also wonderful! The hot tub and fire pit were so enjoyable as was the location. Walking distance to everything! People are friendly and happy in Door County and Sister Bay is a beautiful town!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The host is very responsive and the location is outstanding if you want to be close to the center of the town. The kitchen is the best equipped I have seen in any rental I have had. The bathroom towels and soaps are also well above average. The outdoor sitting areas and fireplace were peaceful and quiet (except the a/c fan from the store during working hours). Very comfortable. I am pained to give it 4 rather than 5 stars and would have given it 4.5 if possible. The significant shortcoming for me was the softness of the beds. I recognize that everyone has different bedding preferences, but unfortunately for me, a soft mattress (without a box spring or something similar) always messes up my back. The other guests found the mattresses soft, but acceptable. I ended up sleeping on the pull-out bed the last night because it was firmer. All other aspects were outstanding though!"
