"This place (the "Mountain Haven" unit) is Adorable! The entire campground is lovely and peaceful. We will definitely return, as we had a wonderful time. This unit is next to a lake; a short little walk from a running river. It's a beautiful place to walk around. There's a hot tub which we enjoyed both nights; we used the outdoor grill for cooking steaks (from the nearby English Cattle Company - local "farm to table" beef) and sweet potatoes; there's a fully stocked kitchen and a very comfortable bed. All the units are pet friendly, so we will bring our dog next time. We got to spend some time visiting with the owner/mgr of the place; Shane was more than accommodating and friendly. Don't miss out! "This is a lovely house, tucked back in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of Linville Falls (and a short drive to Linville Caverns). It had everything we needed. We were there in the summer and got to enjoy the large back deck area. Being up in the mountains, it was cool enough to grill hot dogs and make smores over the fire pit. Delightful. We hope to stay there again in the future, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet mountain getaway."

"Absolutely wonderful stay at Parkview Lodge & Cabins! My boyfriend and I had such a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They were thoughtful enough to offer us extra towels and even provided water, which made us feel so well taken care of. What really stood out to us was how accommodating and helpful everyone was. We accidentally left my boyfriend’s pillow behind, and they were kind enough to agree to ship it all the way to us in Florida rather than simply leaving us to figure it out ourselves. That level of kindness and customer service is so rare and really says a lot about the people who run this place. The lodge and cabins made our stay feel comfortable, peaceful, and memorable. We’re so grateful for how warmly we were treated and would absolutely 100% recommend Parkview Lodge & Cabins to anyone visiting Avery County, North Carolina. We would happily stay here again! ❤️"

"Excellent stay at this home. Bed was so comfortable! Loved the porch with table/ chairs. Couch and chair comfortable in den area. Loved being able to take our doggie, peaceful walk around neighborhood. Would recommend !"

"We had a wonderful trip August 3-5. The location of this cabin is excellent. Our host was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had. The hot tub was perfect. We will definitely go back.Charlie and Emily"
