"Very nice property with large pools and easy access to the beach. Room was a little dated and could have been cleaned a little better, but the staff and servers were very courteous and friendly. Overall a great place to stay!"

"My husband & I needed to stay in Hilton Head for doctors appointments, & after researching Hotels.com I discovered. La Palmera. Affordable, well situated, with very good reviews, I booked a one-nite stay. We found the property, tucked among the trees, bright & charming. After a slight mix-up regarding our room (my fault), the supremely patient front desk assigned us the perfect room. Although it isn’t a huge space, the room has been thoughtfully laid-out. (My husband was impressed with the plexiglass deflector installed at the AC to keep the airflow from directly blowing on the bed). I cannot stress how immaculate everything was kept. Furniture,, bedding, cabinets, appliances, etc. were clean enough to seem Brandt new. Even the carpet had that soft &: fr sh feel, giving the impression it was just laid. A small but usable balcony, a large pristine bathroom a well-stocked kitchen wall,,ultra-comfortable mattress & bedding, pool & hot tub, a hot, diverse breakfast, and kind & knowledgeable staff contributed to make La Palmera the kind of hotel you want to return to as soon as you can.It’s a little gem of tranquility & amenities nestled in the forest of fun known as Hilton Head Island. A place to relax & unwind. We highly recommend."

"Great place and was mostly happy with everything. Like to give it 5 Stars but knocking it down a bit because it’s the 1st place I’ve ever booked that shows it has a coffee maker (which it did) but doesn’t come with any coffee supplies whatsoever. Thinking it was a housekeeping oversight, I went up to the front desk and was informed they do not supply coffee supplies but do serve coffee in the lobby……starting at 8:30AM. Too late for me. So had to scramble around that night and find a grocery store to buy coffee, filters, sugar and cream. Kind of a pain. Also, no ability to call anyone for help after the office closes unless it’s an emergency (clearly defined in their check-in package as pretty much life threatening)."

"It's a great hotel if the beach is your goal. Beach towels, beach chairs in the room. Other than that the room is outdated and too pricey for what it is. One side of the hotel is hotel parking and the other side it is public. In the middle of the night on the public side we had some teenagers in a car with blaring music. I am sure it was not a common incident but kept me awake nonetheless. Overall it was good."

Holiday Inn Express Hilton Head Island by IHG

"The hotel is in a very nice location on the island. Adjacent to a park with a live music event every Tuesday during the summer. About a 12 minute walk to the public beach and about the same time in another direction to the food market, restaurants and shops. One restaurant is close by only taking a 5 minute walk. If unable to walk, a free trolley close by will take you to the same places. Beautiful landscape surrounding the hotel. Very pleasant area. Friendly and professional staff."

"Definitely what was expected from Hyatt. It was in the center of everything, and was pretty modern. Valet parking is a bit on the high side, but in and out privileges are extended."
