"My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in May. We found the hotel to be clean and quiet. The breakfast was great, with an egg station for made-to-order eggs everyday! There’s a great spa and fitness center on site that we also took advantage of. The best part about this hotel though was the staff and how friendly and welcoming they were! I would stay here again if we ever have the chance, it was wonderful! "

"We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the apartment as well as the location. We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). The architecture and decor of the apartment was well thought out and probably the highlight for us. The only negative part of our stay was the bugs...

"Enjoyed the personal greeting and staying with family, that's the reason we like these kinds of stays. Property was well marked and easy to find, in a quiet area. Host was helpful and responsive. "This property has some very good assets. It also has some issues that need to be resolved. The location on the north end of Lake Como and the short distance to transportation to the rest of the lake is awesome. But we tried to get some information from the owner/manager on our first night and it turned into a fiasco. The manager got angry with me for asking simple questions. The rest of our stay seemed like a disaster because of it. I'm sorry it ended up like that, there was no need for it to go...

"Staff incredibly rude including in restaurant. Quite rude allowing entry to hotel in evening. Very rude in restaurant despite them getting the order wrong….3 times. Then arguing that one of the group ordered something theu hadn’t even seen on the menu instead of steak, despite asking for it medium rare. Muttering in Italian as he walked away, clearly angry and practically throwing the plate down on the table. Then when it was time to pay, fairly sure the person from front desk called us swear...

"The appartment is very spacy, clean, well equipped and also very cosy. Due to the wooden blinds and the stone floor the appart was still cool while outside temperatures of 32 degrees and hence very suitable for dogs. The garden is also very large and has a magnificent view on the lake and mountains."

"This is a property with a beautiful view of Lake Como. It was nice to meet Paulo and his father. Paulo was very friendly and helpful. The house was well kept and ideal for us and our daughter. It was very hot when we were there but the cooling unit in the bedroom helped. Gravedona was ideal for lakeside walks,the ferry, swimming and water sports. We are all a bit fitter having chosen to walk up and down the hill from the lake to the house!"
