"One of the finest and wonderful and contemporary hotel we ever stayed in all aspects. Hotel features modern and brand new look, modern and elegant furnishing and very neat and clean amenities. Room décor, bed and everything was quality and perfect and bath room was amazing. Staff was extremely helpful and co-operative and the words like no or not possible was not in their dictionary. Concierge staff went out of the way to help us on our very 1st day on this new land for us, China and especially when we don't know a single word of Chinese language. Sorry I forgot the names of boys who really helped us a lot for almost every thing we asked whether about getting around, dining outside, about city and much more."

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, which boasts a highly convenient location within walking distance to Yong Qing Fang and Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street. The accessibility to these popular attractions made exploring the area effortless and enjoyable. I booked a 2 Twin Beds Premium room, which was impressively spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean—providing a very relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were courteous, attentive, and always willing to assist. I would especially like to commend Manager Zhang Fei for his prompt and thoughtful service. He handled an incident efficiently where my daughter’s shirt was stained due to a juice spill at breakfast, caused by an improperly closed cap. His quick action in resolving the matter, including waiving the laundry charges, was greatly appreciated and reflected a high level of professionalism and care. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, comfort, and prime location."

"I am a frequent international traveler. But this inn is probably the worst among accommodations that I stayed in the past 2 decades. First of all, the location was BAD. Trash on the street with random topless old guys chilling and sitting on the block, they didn’t look like homeless but local neighbors who lived in the area. My kid saw a big rat falling off one of the building roofs while we haul or luggages from the Didi dropoff point to the hotel. There were many restaurants and shops on the pedestrian only street (Shangxiajiu) but they were the budget kind. I know Starglazing tried to go for a retro style, advertising for 西關風情. But to me it was not retro it was simply old. I stayed at Manxin in Beijing before, which transformed the traditional courtyard homes (四合院）into a decent boutique hotel, keeping the traditional architecture and vibe. Stargazing is NOT that. There were molds, dirts, rust everywhere in the room. The “beds” were only mattresses that sit directly on the floor, no bed frames. The bathroom is a wet bath meaning there is no curtain between the shower and toilet. So when one person showers, the entire bathroom gets wet, the toilet, the floor, everything gets wet. If you aren’t careful, the toilet paper and your clothes may get wet as well. The only reason you should consider staying at this inn is the price, which is very affordable and it’s close to popular tourist spots like 永慶坊。"

"I couldn’t wait to review this property! The pictures are definitely decieving as far as the outside and the way it looks !!!! Shame on Expedia do allowing such misrepresentation! It looks absolutely nothing as they protray so much so when the didi driver went to drop us off I was so confused due to how it looked ! The rooms however were excellent ! As shown and the bedding was so lovely! Staff was so kind and helpfull. The front desk is their bar / check in counter. It is very deceiving. Rooms are big and the air conditioning works and you can set it cool which is a bonus in china. If the outside pictures weren’t so deceiving I would have rated it higher. Hallways are hot and not super clean. If you want a nice room that’s spacious and clean this is the place super cute and modern. Heated toilet seats! Didi drivers can’t find it as the address doesn’t line up.. so that was a nightmare. And the face it’s so absolutely NOT HOW IT LOOKS from the outside we literally were outside saying this can’t be it to the driver and he told us they post nice pictures to get you to book lady. Which I do know but it’s just so so not what it looks like it was shocking. Mind you I found that to be China anyhow. You see pictures online and you see things in person and the two don’t match ! Blue skies ? It was cloudy and hot ! Nighttime pics added up. Anyhow this hotel is great as far as the room goes. No windows your in the interior of a building. I’m sure rooms have them but ours didn’t. "
