"Great stay at this gastro-pub with rooms. Room was modern, quiet, comfortable and clean. Had lunch and breakfast at the pub and both were GREAT. Staff were really helpful and pleasant, Paula in particular. Free parking and bus stops to Wrexham and Llangollen 50yds from hotel so very convenient for either. One note of caution if you pack heavily - I don’t think there’s an elevator. All in all a terrific stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. "

"Lovely quirky old hotel but bathroom layout poor, could do with removing bath and putting a shower only, it would be much safer. Reception lady at 2pm was very abrupt and just said “check in not till 3” we only wanted to let her know we had parked in the patrons only car park. Breakfast staff and checking out lady, lovely."

"Staff were lovely. Food was Lovely. Room was clean. Bathroom was separate from the room. Not ideal for trips to the bathroom during the night. Bar noise from downstairs. Sofa bed was not big enough for 2 children. Very creamy bed. "
