lyn Celyn is a large reservoir constructed between 1960 and 1965 in the valley of the River Tryweryn in Gwynedd, Wales. It measures roughly 2.5 miles long by 1 mile wide, and has a maximum depth of 140 ft.

Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. "We had 10 brilliant nights in Llanberis, and the cabin was perfect. Anya is very attentive and we have come home feeling relaxed and refreshed. Theres lots of things to do in the area and if you are fit enough and readily trained there is always a walk up Yr Wyddfa (Snowden), you should never get bored. Lots of local restaurants, cafes and shops.Thanks again Anya, we hope to stay again soon."

"This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). The outside space was so private and had a fantastic view over the fields and to the hills beyond. Our favourite thing was sitting out at night by the fire pit and relaxing, looking up at the stars.
