"I did not have breakfast at the hotel. I went to McDonald’s because it was literally down the road plus I took my porridge with me because all it is you just gotta add hot water to it. I had an overall good stay at this hotel. It was very quiet as you’re not near the town centre. "Lovely one night weekend getaway, rooms were immaculate. Food at the Pen Y Cae inn was amazing, staff were friendly and welcoming. The little zoo they have on the back of the property was a added highlight to our stay and enjoyed walking around looking at the animals and birds."
