Approaching site of former Llangedwyn station, 2001. View northward across the Tanat Valley, the station having been on the right just beyond the prominent farm-house. Crossing from right to left had been the Tanat Valley Light Railway (ex-Cambrian Railways/GWR) line from Oswestry via Blodwell Junction to Llangynog. The station closed when the passenger service ceased from 15/1/51, goods from 1/7/52 - but was worked Blodwell Junction - Llanrhaidr Mochnant until 6/1/64.
