"Nice classic hotel, seems well ran but quite dated in some areas"

"The room was clean, though the sofa bed had a very thin mattress so you felt the bars in the bed frame, very uncomfortable. Pool was nice. Strange rotton milk smell in parts of corridors "

"The room was okay. Though to be fair clean. The beds were a tad uncomfortable. The bed had a ridge at the side so probably needs a new matress. The pillars were cheap. One was too low and two were too high. The breakfast was of a reasonable standard. Though I doubt whether the sausages were Welsh sausages. Probably cheap sausages from wholesale suppliers. I used to make sausages and these definately werent home made. The buffet was very average. The bread was cheap commercial bread. The yogurts were full of ultra processed rubbish. Someone needs to take control of this aspect of the experience. On the positive side the location and the Staff were very pleasant. Not sure whether I would be back in a hurry. "

"Good staff and location but the hotel is badly maintained, out of date, and in need of a serious renovation. Shower and bed were poor. Rooms very dated. I do not plan to stay again. Note: This is a pub so can be a little loud, but to be expected."
