"Good location-price ratio, well centered to go anywhere im the island! The ambiance is nice since part of it is a hostel. But needs more cleaning and more linen daily changing. Very noisy because of the dogs around if you take the private room (had to wake up at 4:00 am daily). The owner doesn't check up much. The guardian is very nice (the best thing in this accomodation)."

"We booked very last minute (on the day) and the management and housekeeping were so accommodating. The apartment was spotless, modern and very comfortable. Everything had been thought of. A fresh fruit bowl, wine and chocolates as a welcome too. The apartment is central to the bars, restaurants and shops in Ribeira Brava, and a stones throw to the seafront. I can’t recommend this apartment enough. Will be back! "

"Wir wurden supernett von Sophia empfangen. Das Apartment war top: auf der Rückseite eine schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf die Bananenplantage und auf der Vorderseite das Fenster zum Meer. Entspannen und super gut schlafen mit dem Rauschen des Meeres- einfach super! Der Ort Madalena do Sol ist sehr ruhig, weg vom Touristentrubel, den man sonst auf Madeira findet. Man erreicht aber leicht Supermärkte und es gibt auch eine breite Auswahl von wirklich empfehlenswerten Restaurants.Familie Gouveia sind...

"Ana is a very nice person. Even though I only speak Chinese, she was very friendly and patient in sharing with me places worth visiting in Madeira. The house is very beautiful and clean. Although the location is a bit far from the city, there are many places worth exploring in Madeira. I think this is not a problem at all if you drive by yourself. In short, I recommend Anna’s house."
