"A beautiful building that has been sympathetically updated. The beds are very hard which is fine if that’s what you like. The view from our room was rather unpleasant looking into what looked like derelict buildings that were actually lived in. Although there are nice parts of Tirano it is quite run down which is probably not helped by the tour companies picking up tourists at the end of the Bernina train line and ferrying them away to other cities instead of them injecting much needed cash into the area"

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious and the restaurant staff were perfect. We did the spa and massage and the facilities were amazing.
